Apprenticeship Ambassador Network Announces New National Leadership Team

The Apprenticeship Ambassador Network (AAN) has announced its new national leadership team, who will officially take up their positions on 1 July 2026.

Following a successful appointment process, the new team brings together a wealth of experience from across apprenticeships, skills, and employer engagement, with a shared commitment to championing apprenticeships nationally.

Kathryn Marshall MBE Appointed National Chair

Stepping up from her current role as AAN Vice Chair, Kathryn Marshall MBE has been appointed as the new National Chair.

Kathryn is a senior leader in Next Gen Talent at Lloyds Banking Group, where she leads the strategy and delivery of early careers, apprenticeships, and emerging talent pathways. She has been an active member of the AAN for nine years and has played a significant role in supporting and developing the network.

Meet the New Vice Chairs

Katie Rankin – Employer Lead

Katie Rankin is Emerging Talent & Careers Manager at Jet2 and brings more than 15 years of experience across apprenticeships and skills. She has served as Employer Co-Chair for the Yorkshire & Humber AAN for the past six years and has completed two apprenticeships herself.

Tegan Hinch – Apprentice Lead

Tegan Hinch is a Production Office Governance Analyst at Santander. Having started her career as a Data Science Degree Apprentice, Tegan has become a passionate advocate for apprenticeships and has spent the last two years as Apprentice Co-Chair for the Yorkshire & Humber AAN.

Sarah Moors – Multi-Region (National) Employer Lead

Sarah Moors is Head of Apprenticeships at BBC Academy, leading a multi-award-winning team delivering apprenticeship and early careers programmes across journalism, technology, production and business functions. Sarah has also completed a Level 7 apprenticeship and has been an active member of the AAN’s Multi-Region Group for the past five years.

The AAN has also paid tribute to Anthony Impey MBE and Tom Culley BEM for their outstanding leadership, dedication and contribution over the past four years. Their expertise, passion and commitment have helped shape and strengthen the network, leaving a lasting legacy for ambassadors across England.
