The University of Reading is striving to improve staff training and development and therefore increasing use of apprenticeships for staff is a priority.
As Apprenticeships Coordinator at the University of Reading, I am raising awareness of apprenticeships to staff at the university – promoting the benefits of using apprenticeships for development of existing staff and using them within recruitment. I also ensure we find the most suitable training provider for each apprenticeship at the university, and the training is of a high standard.
I believe apprenticeships are a fantastic way for employers to invest in their staff, and I am proud to be developing how we use apprenticeships at the University of Reading.
