I am the Workforce Development Consultant for Medway Council and was fundamental in the creation of our nationally recognised Apprenticeship Academy. I have responsibility for apprenticeships within our organisation, a role that I am passionate about. I am committed to ensuring all our apprentices receive high quality programmes, plus wider personal and professional development opportunities. I am proud that Medway Council makes maximum use of its Apprenticeship Levy funds and met its Public Sector Target for 2017/18. I am an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, with many years’ experience working in HR Services.
Medway Council is a unitary local authority (formed in 1998) located in the South East of England, supporting c.280,000 residents. It has the powers of a non-metropolitan county and district council combined. Medway is the largest urban area in the South East, outside of London.
