My job role is to ensure we as a company are offering a high standard of care and support to both clients and staff. I ensure the policies and procedures are updated and followed. I carry out audits, supervision, appraisals, and training compliance.
TELL US WHY YOU JOINED THE APPRENTICESHIP AMBASSADOR NETWORK:
I want to become an Employer Apprenticeship Ambassador because I’ve seen firsthand the positive impact that apprenticeships have on individuals, teams, and entire organisations. They are not only a powerful way to develop talent tailored to specific business needs, but also a meaningful opportunity to support social mobility, diversify the workforce, and invest in long-term skills development.
As an employer, I’ve been proud to support apprentices across various levels and roles. I’ve seen how the right structure, guidance, and real-world experience can help apprentices grow into confident, capable professionals. At the same time, our business has benefited from fresh perspectives, enhanced productivity, and stronger staff retention.
By becoming an ambassador, I want to share these experiences with other employers—especially those who may be unsure about how to start or maximise the apprenticeship route. I believe I can help demystify the process, offer practical insights, and advocate for high-quality training and inclusion. Ultimately, I want to play a part in shaping a workforce that is future-ready, skilled, and accessible to all.
I have always took on opportunity as a Rep back in university days, a Mentor during my work as a Ward sister in the hospital, also in my current role encouraging staff in taking up learning this becomes an eye-opener to individuals who had no idea how interesting, flexible and less time consuming and more gain in terms of learning as you study is. So my intention is to get more young adults, students, employees involve into various opportunity, and being a former apprentice myself I enjoyed every moment of my course and I learnt so much, and I will be venturing into more course soon am actually excited about it.
