My job is to maximise the uptake of apprenticeships in the NHS and social care across England. This involves co-leading a team of regional staff who work directly with hospitals, surgeries and care homes to plan and support their apprentice workforce. I also lead a portfolio specifically concerned with the role of maths, English and digital skills within and outside of apprenticeships in health.
