On 12 June 2025, the South East Ambassador Network was invited to attend a National Apprenticeship Week Recognition & Celebration event at the House of Lords.

The South East Chairs and Deputy Chairs, Elizabeth Flegg, Max McGarvie, Nikki Morgan and Chris Davies were in attendance along with other representatives from the South East.

National Apprentice Chair, Anthony Impey delivered the open address, thanking all AAN ambassadors for championing apprenticeships during National Apprenticeship Week and praising the year on year interest from outside the sector.

There were also speeches from Director of Apprenticeships, Kate Ridley-Moy, a House of Lords representative and employers and apprentices that have owe a great deal to apprenticeships.

The date for National Apprenticeship Week 2026 was also announced as 9-15 February 2026.
