Tell us how you first become an apprentice:
I applied for my apprenticeship whilst I was studying for my GCSEs as I wanted to go straight into the engineering industry. This apprenticeship took me on a rotation through the different departments in the manufacturing facility, and I specialised in a technical support role.
Tell us about your current apprenticeship role:
I am a PCB Process Engineer, so I complete maintenance tasks on machines, attend breakdowns on machines, improve the production processes and undertake various projects within the factory such as introducing robotics.
Tell us why you wanted to become an apprentice ambassador:
So that I can encourage and help as many people as possible to complete an apprenticeship and share my experience of getting education whilst getting on the job training.
