TELL US HOW YOU FIRST BECAME AN APPRENTICE:

After completing my business A-Level, I knew I wanted to further my learning in a working environment. After finding this apprenticeship, I knew this was what I wanted to start.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CURRENT APPRENTICESHIP ROLE:

I’m in the admin department in a GP practice and, day-to-day, I could be ordering blood tests for patients; sending and receiving paper medical records into our practice and recording this on our system; scanning clinical documents onto patient notes; and entering any external patient healthcare data we may receive. My day varies day-to-day in my tasks but those are some of my more frequent ones.

TELL US WHY YOU WANTED TO BECOME AN APPRENTICE AMBASSADOR:

I would like to become an apprentice ambassador because I want to advocate and promote apprenticeships in my sector and all sectors of work. I feel as if NHS apprenticeships need to be promoted more so people can see all the opportunities you can start in both clinical and non-clinical roles.
