Tell us how you first became an apprentice:
Whilst at college, I had a part time job working on a small local construction site which really grew my interest in apprenticeships, so that I could learn and work at the same time and so I decided to apply for apprenticeships to begin my career as a Project Manager.
Tell us about your current apprenticeship role:
I am a Project Manager apprentice at Thames Water. In my role, I manage new developments within the business and construction projects on various water treatment works across London. My position is hybrid, meaning I get to work partly at home, as well as in different offices and on site.
Why did you want to become an apprentice ambassador:
I wanted to become an ambassador so that I could have the opportunity to meet and network with other apprentices to share experiences and grow my knowledge. I also want to promote apprenticeships as a whole, as it has been such a great route for me and my career.
