After finishing my Level 3 Engineering BTEC, I applied for apprenticeships because I wanted real‑world engineering experience while working towards a Level 6 degree. It felt like the best way to learn, contribute and progress at the same time.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CURRENT APPRENTICESHIP ROLE:
I started my apprenticeship in systems design and integration & test, and I’m now specialising in product security. It’s a role that lets me build on my earlier engineering experience while developing strong cyber‑focused skills.
TELL US WHY YOU WANTED TO BECOME AN APPRENTICE AMBASSADOR:
I wanted to become an apprentice ambassador because I already lead a lot of outreach and stretch activities in my company, and I’m passionate about inspiring future apprentices. Joining the network lets me take that impact to a national level.
