Josephine C-Thornewill

As the Sustainability Advisor for Berkeley Homes’ Southern division, Josephine provides in-house sustainability consultancy and support for all construction projects. Alongside this, the social sustainability element of her role extends to improving the industry image of construction. Recognising that increasing the quantity and quality of apprenticeships in construction is key to addressing the Skills Gap, her involvement in the Ambassador Network has assisted her in developing this within her business.

Berkeley is the Group’s longest established brand, founded in 1976 and today creating medium to large-scale developments in towns, cities and the countryside, encompassing executive homes, mixed use schemes, riverside apartments, refurbished historic buildings and urban loft spaces. Berkeley is proud to be one of the leading property development companies in London and the South of England.
