TELL US ABOUT YOUR CURRENT ROLE:
I’m a co-director of Copper Sky Limited who provides contracted apprenticeship management services to Carbon 60/Impellam and Alta Edge Ltd. My role is to champion apprenticeships, support the companies in spending their levy and matching new apprentices with courses and providers. Once on course, I coach and support apprentices and their line managers to help them to successfully complete the apprenticeships. Once completed, I advise on pathways for further apprenticeship opportunities.
TELL US WHY YOU JOINED THE APPRENTICESHIP AMBASSADOR NETWORK:
I am an ex headteacher who is keen to continue supporting young people in achieving their career aspirations and by raising awareness of the post 16 education opportunities available to them. I am passionate about promoting apprenticeships and supporting companies to both use them to recruit new employees and in upskilling existing employees.
