I am the Widening Participation Advisor for Surrey & Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. My role is to support staff with career development through apprenticeships as well as encourage the future generation of our staff through organising careers fairs and work experience for students who wish to pursue a career within the NHS. I started my career in the NHS as a business apprentice within the Education team and then progressed to become a digital trainer before securing my current role.
